Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Victory Outreach based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
1. God
There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
2. Jesus
We believe In the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, death for our sins, bodily
resurrection, ascension unto God, and imminent return in power and glory.
resurrection, ascension unto God, and imminent return in power and glory.
3. The Bible
We believe the Holy Scriptures are the inspired and complete revelation of God’s
will concerning man’s salvation through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
will concerning man’s salvation through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
4. Salvation
We believe...
Mankind
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve,
were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations.
The Fall
When Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, they ceased to be what they were made to be and became distorted images of God.
This caused them to fall out of fellowship with God, and fractured all of creation ever since that time.
Salvation
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions.
God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior.
That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.
That people are saved solely through faith in God’s grace as displayed in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

5. Baptism
We believe in water baptism as a public declaration that a believer has died with
Christ and risen with Him to walk a life of holiness and love.
Christ and risen with Him to walk a life of holiness and love.
6. The Church
The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the unity of all true believers as members of the universal body of Christ regardless of denominational affiliation.

7. Communion
We believe in the celebration of the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Jesus.
8. Holy Spirit
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit:
By the inward witness of salvation to the believer.
By daily guidance and the growth of Christ-like character.
By the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, an experience distinct from and following the new birth, evidenced initially by speaking
with other tongues and subsequently by the manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service.
By the manifestation of the supernatural gifts of the Spirit as listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.

9. Jesus Return
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to gather all His saints unto Himself.
Those who have not accepted His redemptive work on their behalf will suffer eternal separation from the Godhead and burn in the lake of fire.

10. Jesus will Reign
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth. We believe that following His return Jesus Christ will rule and reign for one thousand years on the earth. After this there will be a new heaven and a new earth.
